The balancing act between restraint and swagger is a quintessential aspect of CoSTUME NATIONAL. This unconventional jacket is a good example of the label's singular vision, where even seemingly incongruous materials such as faux fur are executed with outmost precision. A point collar offsets the material's glam connotations, and lends it a sense of formality.

Considerable attention to detail can be seen in the construction and finishing: Instead of buttons, the front closes with large steel hooks-and-eyes. The waistband and sleeves have chunky ribbed wool knit inserts. The faux fur fabric is made from 80% acrylic & 20% polyester. Its subtle vertical motif has been precisely matched throughout the garment. On the interior, we can see the facing panels are made from brushed virgin wool twill. It is also fully lined in viscose sateen with one pocket.
